STREET STOCK
No mirrors no
radios or communication equipment allowed at any time.
Body
1. OEM stock bodies must maintain stock appearance. Fenders and quarter panels
may be cut for tire clearance. All
glass and flammable materials must be removed. Doors must be welded shut.
2. No fiberglass, aluminum, or homemade plastic body parts.
3. Must have front and rear firewall. All holes must be covered.
4. Must have complete stock floorboard.
5. Boxed interior permitted. Must have inspection cover.
6. Trunk floor and rear fender wells must remain in car.
7. Trunk floor may be cut for fuel cell. Maximum clearance 3'' around cell.
8. May remove inner front fender wells.
9. Stock bumpers only. No push bars.
10. Spoiler height 8'' total material. No spoiler braces.
11. Side skirts permitted around bottom of body.
Frame and Rails
1.Frame and rails must be stock. Any frame bracing permitted. Body must match
frame.
2. Minimum wheel base 105'' (1'' tolerance) wheel base must match factory specs
for body used.
Front Suspension and Steering
1. Stock upper control arm only.
2. Stock lower control arms for make and model required. Aftermarket bushings
permitted.
3. Must run OEM spindles.
4. Stock springs only in factory location. May be cut to lower car.
5. No weight jacks allowed.
6. OEM steering boxes only. Must match frame.
7. OEM center link and inner tie rod end only.
8. Outer tie rod ends must be stock only.
9. Stock type shocks only. Must be mounted in original position. One shock per
wheel.
Rear Suspension
1. Rear end must be stock for body used. Must have stock factory mounts and
mounted in
stock position with stock hook ups.
Wheels
1. Steel wheels only. 8'' maximum width.
2. 8'' tread width maximum on tires. Street tires only. Minimum durometer
reading 65. Subject to random
test.
3. No bead locks.
Brakes
1. Stock brakes only. Disc on front. Drum rear. No rear disc brakes.
2. Single go cylinders only.
3. No proportioning valves allowed.
Exhaust
1. Cast iron manifolds only.
2. Must exit under car.
Transmission
1. Must be stock 3 or 4 speed transmission
2. OEM automatic transmission must have OEM type torque converter (11'' minimum)
in working order
3. Must have at least one forward and one reverse gear in working order
Engine Setback
1. Most forward spark plug must be in line with, or in front of ball joint.
2. Must have original engine cross member in original position.
3. Drive line must be in centerline of car.
Engine
1. OEM cast iron V8 block only.
2. Maximum cylinder bore 4.060
3. OEM main caps only.
4. May surface deck of block.
5. Piston cannot extend past deck of block.
Crank
1. Standard production OEM cast or steel crank only.
2. Must be standard production stroke for engine.

3. No knife edging crank.
4. No turning down counter weights or drilling crank pins.
Rods
1. Stock appearing I Beam OEM design steel pods only 5.7'' max length.
Pistons
1. Flat top 4 valve relief pistons only.
Cam
1. Hydraulic cam only. .425 max lift at valve.
Lifters
1. Hydraulic lifters only.
2. No roller or mushroom lifters.
3. Lifter must be OEM diameter for engine. Chevrolet .842, Ford .875, Chrysler
.901.
Timing Chain
1. Any chain and gear. No gear or belt drives.
Heads
1. OEM standard production cast iron heads only. Must have casting numbers.
2. No angle plug heads except Ford and Chrysler.
3. World products S/R (street replacement) heads casting #1-052 permitted.
4. No bow tie, W2 or Ford SVO heads.
5. May surface heads, 62 CC limit.
6. Steel valves only.
7. Maximum size for Chevrolet, intake 1.94, exhaust 1.50.
8. No vortec heads allowed.
Carburetor
1. Holley or Rochester 2 barrel 500 CFM max.
2. No cool boxes on or in fuel line.
Intakes
1. Stock cast iron 4 barrel intakes only. No special purpose or open plenom
intakes allowed. 1'' adapter to 2 barrel. Ok.
2. Stock cast iron 2 barrel intakes allowed.
Weight
1. 3300 lbs. minimum with driver.
2. 1 lb. per green flag lap burn off in feature only.
3. All weight must be bolted on and painted white.
4. Weight must be posted on left C- pillar
5. Track retains the right to adjust weight in interest of competition should it
deem necessary. Any questions about weight
should be asked before feature not after.
